How EK Powerwashing Got Started
EK Powerwashing & Artificial Grass Cleaning is a family-run local business based in East Kilbride, a local company working for local people. With over 15 years in the business, we have the experience, knowledge and equipment to make sure your driveway, patio or garden is looking great when we leave.
We clean block paving, monoblock and Tegular driveways, Indian sandstone patios, paths, steps, walls and decking, and restore artificial grass. We also remove Trentepohlia staining from render, clear gutters, and fit Christmas lights. Every job starts with a free, no-obligation, fixed-price quotation. Normally all we need is a few pictures, and the price we say is the price you pay.

EK Powerwashing is a family-run business owned by Ross Downie. Customers name Ross again and again in their reviews for quick responses, competitive fixed prices and turning up when he says he will. We are fully insured and all work is guaranteed, and if anything needs a second look after we leave, we come back and sort it.
On the Job
Drains and freshly painted walls are protected before the power washer starts, paving is chemically treated so algae and black spot die off rather than grow straight back, and we wash down the road in front so no dirt is carried back onto a clean drive. Block paving is re-sanded once it is bone dry, so we come back to finish the job properly.

I Contacted Ross through Social Media to give me a quote for cleaning my driveway, he was very quick and responsive with a great competitive quote, so much so I added on my full perimeter double slabbed area around my property! A date was set and he turned up on time leaving a fantastic job doing exactly what I asked for including protecting our drains and freshly painted walls from any damage, also cleaning the front section of road so no dirt transferred to the cleaned drive. On completion I paid him in full on the basis he’d return to sand the drive once it was bone dry, he didn’t ask for the full amount but I work on trust. A few days later he returned to sand the drive leaving it like a freshly laid area! A great guy who did what he was paid to do with no issues and I’m led to believe a few neighbours will be using his services off the back of seeing his work.

Ross fitted and took down our Xmas lights late last year. Also cleaned our gutters recently which included a small gutter repair. All work was completed at a very reasonable cost and his communication was excellent prior to the arranged date and time. Highly recommended and hassle free service.
